How it works
The solver finds every word that fits your pattern and has none of your wrong letters, then counts which unused letter appears in the most remaining words. Guess the top letter to shrink the list fastest.
How to use the hangman solver
- Type the pattern so far, with _ for each hidden letter.
- Type the wrong letters you have already guessed.
- Guess the top-ranked letter, then update the pattern and repeat.
Example: With the pattern _a__e_ and wrong letters S and T, the most likely next guesses are R, D and L, because they appear in the most remaining words.
Frequently asked questions
How does it pick the best letter?
It counts how many of the remaining possible words contain each unused letter and ranks the highest first.
How do I enter the pattern?
Use _ for blanks and letters you already found, for example _a__e_.
Does it learn from wrong letters?
Yes. Enter them in the wrong letters box and those words are removed.
